I often get asked if I offer lymphatic drainage.
While I do not offer stand alone Manual Lymphatic Drainage, properly applied Swedish massage and Reflexology can support healthy lymph flow in a gentle, nervous system friendly way.

I’ve been seeing a lot of posts about lymphatic drainage lately, and many of the images and videos don’t reflect how lymphatic drainage was originally taught.

Some techniques shown involve deep pressure, sculpting, or forceful movements meant to push fluid. While those approaches may serve other purposes, they are not lymphatic drainage in the traditional sense.

Lymphatic drainage, as taught by Dr. Emil Vodder, uses slow, rhythmic, light touch designed to support natural lymph flow and nervous system regulation.

Hard to believe I’m stepping into my 22nd year as a Licensed Massage Therapist ✨

I began my career in day spas across Brooklyn, Manhattan, and East Hampton. Eventually, I took a leap of faith, renting my own office space a few days a week, and discovered how deeply I loved working for myself. I’ve built my practice three different times in two different states, and I truly don’t know how to thank my loyal clients, family, and friends for the continued support over the years.

Over time, my training expanded to include pregnancy massage, offering the face down prone position with supportive cushions and pillows, board certified reflexology since 2007, Craniosacral Therapy, and Reiki as a practitioner since 2006. I am also a yoga teacher and a devoted student of Sri Dharma Mittra, whose teachings continue to deeply influence my work.

My practice today looks very different from when I started, and that feels intentional. I meet each client exactly where they are and offer a calm, welcoming space where the body is invited to soften and settle.

Rather than forcing release, my work is rooted in allowing, supporting the nervous system and trusting the body’s innate wisdom to unwind in its own time 🤍

As we enter this season of holidays and spending time with others, I just want to say how grateful I am that you chose my practice for your healing and self care needs.

Lately, I’ve been starting sessions with a quick body scan, helping clients notice how they feel and bring awareness into their bodies.

Many of my clients, including New Yorkers, new moms, pregnant mothers, and those on the fertility journey, share one thing: their nervous systems are often stuck in “on/survival” mode.

A nervous system reset is a gentle, respectful way to help the body shift out of survival mode, including fight, flight, freeze, or fawn, and back toward safety, connection, and regulation.

It doesn’t force anything. It honors that:
🌿 Stress lives in the body
🌿 The nervous system is designed to respond to stress to keep us safe
🌿 Healing moves at the pace of safety

It’s not about “fixing” anyone. It’s about guiding clients to notice their breath, the space they are in, and helping the body recognize that the present moment is safe.

Even a few minutes can create real calm. 🌿

Every session begins long before you arrive. When you arrive you will find fresh linens 🤍, disinfected pregnancy cushions 🧼, a quick air-out of the room 🌬️, and a reset of every surface you or I may have touched ✨. I fine-tune the temperature 🌡️, soften any street noise 🚫🚗, choose calming music 🎶, and blend aromatherapy just for you 🌿. These little details create a clean, safe, and deeply soothing space, allowing you to fully relax and your nervous system can be at ease. 🤰✨

I’ll be honest...I had some serious tech issues right before class and started to feel stressed. 😅

So what did I do? I stepped away. Shut down my computer. Reached out for help. And most importantly… I focused on my breath.

This Calming Breath is my go-to in moments like these, when anxiety or frustration starts to rise. Even 3–5 minutes of mindful breathing can shift your body’s stress response, calm the mind, and regulate your nervous system.

✨ Today I welcomed back a client who’s now expecting her second baby. She smiled and said,
“I’m back because I remember how good I felt during and after your massages.” 💛
(Her first little one is now 2!)

In my practice, comfort is everything! from the room temperature and positioning to the amount of pressure used throughout the session. My goal is for every client to feel cared for, relaxed, and at ease during our time together.

I always encourage open communication, your body knows what it needs, and I’m here to listen.

I love working with pregnant and postpartum women.
