Anthony is a Harvard-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in sports-related injuries and arthroscopic (minimally invasive) surgery of the shoulder, hip, and knee. Part of the distinguished Mount Sinai Doctors Faculty Practice, Dr. Anthony serves an Assistant Professor of Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Surgery at the renowned Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, consistently ranked as one of the top medical schools in the U.S. Dr. Anthony received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed orthopaedic residency at the Harvard Residency Program where he was selected to be Chief Resident at Massachusetts General Hospital. He undertook additional fellowship training in shoulder, hip, and knee arthroscopy and Sports Medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery where he provided medical coverage for the New York Knicks NBA team and New York Red Bulls Major League Soccer team. Dr. Anthony is an Orthopaedic Consultant for the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and provides courtside medical coverage for players at the US Open Tennis Championship. An expert on shoulder, hip, and knee injuries, Dr. Anthony has over thirty publications and presentations at national and international conferences and holds multiple US Patents on cutting edge technologies. Dr. Anthony is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
