One of my patients recently asked:
“Why do some people experience eyebrow drop after Botox?”
This is such an important question — because Botox for the forehead (the frontalis muscle) is one of the most challenging treatments in aesthetics.
✨ The frontalis is the only muscle that elevates the eyebrows.
That’s why it’s so important to understand how this muscle works before we soften forehead lines.
When I assess a patient, I always take time to analyze:
• Is the frontalis strong or weak?
• Are the eyebrows naturally low or high?
• Is the muscle in normotension or hypertension (working too hard)?
• Is the forehead long or short?
• What is the patient’s natural expression pattern?
All of these individual anatomical features matter.
And sometimes, we cannot fully relax every forehead line without risking brow heaviness — because safety and facial harmony always come first.
Each patient is unique, and the same Botox treatment does NOT work for everyone.
Placement, dose, pattern — everything is customized.
I always take my time to learn each patient’s anatomy so I can deliver natural, balanced, and beautiful results.
It takes time — but it’s absolutely worth it. 🤍
