💡Did you know cavities are the #1 most common chronic disease among children? 🦷The key to cavities is prevention. How can we prevent them?
👉Brushing at least 2x a day and flossing 1x 👉Eating a healthy balanced diet and limiting sweets as much as possible
👉Eliminating baby bottle use by 12 months of age and switching to cups for all liquids
👉Not sharing germs with others that may have active cavities. We advise not to share utensils, cups, or kissing on mouth to children

Brushing harder doesn’t mean brushing better. Brushing too hard can damage your gums and cause them to recede. Instead, use a soft bristle toothbrush and gently angle the bristles at your gumlines. Think of it as a gentle massage, not a scrub.
