Dena Harris, MD
Dr. Harris was a pioneer in the early 1980s for being the first OB/GYN in the SoHo area and also one of the first women OB/GYN's in private practice in NYC. A year later Dr. Harris saw the publication of the book she co-authored, Recovering from a Hysterectomy. Vincent’s Hospital and was awarded a Clinical Assistant Professorship at New York Medical College. Dr. Harris is currently affiliated with N.Y.U Medical Center, N.Y.U Downtown Hospital and St. Vincent’s Hospital. She is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and was board certified in 1983. She has been named to the Top Doctors in New York and America’s Top Doctors.
