Invisalign may be advertising how great their product is, and it is great. However, they've started to make negative and disparaging comments about orthodontists about being out-of-date and archaic by still using braces and wires. This IS NOT great! Keep in mind, many studies have compared Invisalign to braces, and like everything in life, it has both pros and cons. Although the findings support the notion that Invisalign treatment typically takes about 90 minutes less in total chair time (and conclude shorter treatment duration inappropriately), and patients tend to like the system, they also found that on average the quality of the result of the treatment is not as good as with braces, and compliance with wear time is still a big factor in achieving the desired outcome.
