Alliance for Lupus Research The Alliance for Lupus Research's Walk with Us to Cure Lupus Program.

The Alliance for Lupus Research is a national voluntary health organization founded in 1999. The ALR is the world's largest private funder of lupus research.The Alliance for Lupus Research's signature national fundraising program Walk with Us to Cure Lupus started in 2002 with the first ALR Walk in Washington DC. Today, tens of thousands of volunteers from across the country have joined this grassroots effort.Because the ALR's Board Of Directors funds all fundraising and administrative costs, 100% of all donations (including every dollar raised through ALR's Walk with Us to Cure Lupus program) go directly to support lupus research programs. To date the ALR has commited nearly $65 million to innovative and aggressive lupus research.
