On a day when the world celebrates women, we are especially proud to celebrate the extraordinary women serving on the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Medical Society.
These are women who somehow manage to do it all—and do it well. They care for patients, push the boundaries of medicine, lead with integrity, raise families, mentor students and young professionals, support our community, and show up with generosity, humor, and grace to help guide and strengthen this organization.
Medicine demands brilliance. Leadership demands courage. Family demands heart. And these women manage to find the time and energy to carry all three—often before their first cup of coffee (not kidding)!
Their dedication to HMS, to their professions, and to the people around them is nothing short of awe-inspiring. Today and every day, we are grateful to work alongside them and proud to witness the impact they make.
We also take this opportunity to celebrate and honor the countless women who volunteer, donate, support and uplift HMS in any way possible, including our Young Professionals ladies. Every time we call any of you asking for help, the answer is always, "Yes, here's what I can do." Words will never be enough to express our gratitude to you all.
Here’s to strong women—those who heal, those who lead, those who are preparing to lead, and those who lift everyone around them.
