COVID-19 pandemic is having a profound effect on our lives. Most of us are feeling increasingly stressed.
And when we’re stressed, most of us are more apt to make emotional food choices to soothe our mood.
The cycle of unhealthy eating can be a vicious one.
Being stressed causes more insulin to be released by the pancreas to clear that glucose from your bloodstream, and if you don’t manage stress better, this will turn to insulin resistance, not only increasing cravings, but weight gain, and chronic inflammation.

THAT’S how I was able to overcome a LIFELONG addiction to sugar in 3 weeks. Seriously, the addiction was bad. I’d shove M&Ms in my mouth while I was sleeping, and would wake up with Haribo gummy bears stuck to my t-shirt, leaving the evidence behind.
