NYCRUNS races are accurately measured, electronically timed, and produced by a highly trained team of event and medical professionals. Our post-race festivals feature fresh New York bagels (with a shmear of course – this is New
York), fresh fruit, and a vibrant atmosphere led by a great DJ. Our events are fun, vibrant, not overcrowded, and all about showing you a great time. Our overarching goal is to give athletes the chance to win their race by providing them with the best possible experience from the time they register until the moment they see their finish line photos. Simply put, week in and week out our goal is to put on the best races in New York City. In doing so, we want to be a relentlessly positive part of our customer’s lives; a meaningful partner to local businesses, local causes, and local runners; and a great employer to our diverse team of employees. The NYCRUNS Central Park Half Marathon
Has Been CANCELED

In coordination with our city agency partners, we have canceled the NYCRUNS Central Park Half Marathon scheduled for Sunday, February 22, due to the impending winter storm.

We will be providing all registered runners with a complimentary race entry to make up for the cancellation. We’ll be sending runners an email next week with all the details on how you can register for the complimentary race of your choice.

We know you’ve trained hard and have been looking forward to this race for a while and we’re sorry that you’ll miss it. But we look forward to seeing you at your complimentary NYCRUNS race soon.

Our Story

NYCRUNS put on about 35 races annually in New York City including the Queens Half Marathon (on the streets for the first time in November 2017), the Brooklyn Marathon, the Central Park Half Marathon, and the iconic Empire State Building Run-Up. Week in and week out, our goal is to produce running events that exceed the standards of the biggest and best events in the world while providing the atmosphere of a true community race. That means we produce accurately measured and timed races with appropriate on course support, exceptional race swag, and a festival that truly makes you want to celebrate your accomplishments with friends. We do this with the greatest city in the world as our jaw dropping backdrop. We’re honored to serve the New York City running community and are proud to welcome people from all over the world to join us at our races.
