An impromptu sale!

On Sankranti, celebrated under many names across India, we celebrate the golden blessings of the sun as the days slowly begin to become longer and more more illuminated for another year.
I wish you all strong roots and any many joyous experiences in 2024. It is a blessing for me to be able to continue this journey and to be able to share it with you and hopefully many more people in the years ahead. I feel immensely optimistic about what this year holds. 

As a business grows, it’s important to take stock of what is and is not moving the business onward and upward. Sadly that sometimes means letting go of products and while we haven’t finalized these decisions, it looks like we will likely be saying goodbye to our Unsweetened Resilience Turmeric Elixir and our Elixir Single Serve Packets once the current inventory is sold.

We also had a bit of a warehousing issue where newer items were shipped out before our older stock. The best option for me is to use all of this as an opportunity to make sure you can have plenty of my golden offerings to support you through 2024 so I’m throwing a quick and impromptu sale...

The discounted inventory of Resilience Turmeric Elixir Single Serve Tins and Packets, Resilience Turmeric Elixir Unsweetened Tins, Anjali’s Chai Masala with Turmeric and Saffron 6 oz Pouches and Anjali’s Chai Masala with Extra Ginger 6 oz Pouches are all dated best by the end of 2024 but as you know, our blends are super fresh when blended and never really go bad so you can safely use them for much longer. In spite of that reality, we still need to sell all of this inventory in the next couple of months and rather than liquidating them at a loss, I’d much rather see them in your hands.

Discounted pricing will continue while inventory remains however we’ve bumped up the discounts further for about 30 hours to try to raise the capital we need to buy what we need from the 2024 turmeric harvest that is now ready! These EXTRA DISCOUNTS will only be in effect through tomorrow, Tuesday 1/16 (while supplies last) and then we’ll have a smaller discount until the items are sold out or liquidated.

Our last Holiday market of the season is here and I love that we’re closing out the season at the Invisible Dog Art Center- it’s a market we’ve done every year since 2017!
The folks who attend regularly from the neighborhoods of bk have seen our transformation year after year and have supported my brand with so much love that I participate anytime I have the chance…and I’m so looking forward to to the weekend. Come by and say hi and pick up a few gifts while you’re at it!
I’m bringing or gift boxes to pack them up beautifully for anyone on your list…parents, kids, partners, teachers, colleagues…everyone needs a nourishing and delicious cup!

Our 2023 Sale E x t e n d e d! 🙌🏽

If you're like me, last week was about spending time with loved ones. I spent a few days with my mom and sister (yes, that's them above savoring their Resilience Turmeric Elixir!) and while I did do a little shopping, I always feel conflicted about finding that balance between savoring precious time together and taking advantage of sales, like my own, that are often only offered once a year, if that.

So with that in mind, I'd like to offer you a couple more days to take advantage of these deals - most of them the lowest prices we've ever offered or will ever offer.

Over the next few days our collective shopping decisions can make a huge impact on helping small businesses survive and thrive after we’ve invested enormous sums to have inventory ready for the holidays, praying for the best case scenario…ending the year in the black!

Give me a 🙋🏽‍♀️if you have or plan to support small businesses, women owned businesses, minority owned businesses this week/weekend and over this holiday season. And I’d personally love if you’d tag a business you plan to support that people who see this post (me too) might also love and want to support and see flourish!
As for our unprecedented sale, our first and only of 2023, we are selling some items at prices we normally can’t justify.
To be perfectly honest, I’ve made the decision to do this 1) to compete in the frenzy because I know a lot of shopping dollars will be spent this weekend 2) to reward and thank my customers who support, spread the word, and gift my products at full price year round (a huge thank you to those who have ordered and spread the love already🙏🏽💛) 3) we grow every year thanks to the new customers introduced to our products through gifts and we want to make it easier for more folks to do this 🙏🏽 4) because it makes sense for me to offer larger discounts on the inventory I have “overstock” on - meaning I have some items that my projections show I may not sell while they have ample shelf life or that I plan to discontinue. To be clear, everything on the site has at least one year before its best by date and even at that point, they are perfectly fine, though the potency of powders will reduce slowly over time.

5 years ago I faced an obstacle I wasn't sure I could overcome. And then I hit some more. As this big anniversary loomed and become more present in my thoughts, I had a full circle moment that not only unburdened me but allowed me to see all at once the awe inspiring web of humanity that has fed my resilience.
