Arts & Crafts were a big part of what brought me joy during my childhood. My Mom didn’t have elaborate set ups, but we had fun activities like making popsicle stick sculptures and cookie decorating. I’m excited to announce a new concept, a shorter, less expensive casual cookie decorating class compared to my 1 hour workshop. I really hope you enjoy decorating your Easter eggs during this cookie decorating class at my NYC studio. Cardamom black pepper cookies, fun springy royal icing options/sprinkles , satin ribbons for each, and a box.

A simple dinner inspired by a huge kimchi purchase. Bowls of juk (congee), BBQ Pork & Crispy Pork from , 3x kimchi, oye namul (refreshing sweet and salty cucumbers), sesame seeds, scallions, crushed gim (toasted seaweed). Unfortunately after we finished I realized that I forgot Chili Crisp and Zhong Sauce. Oops! Either way, it was a fun night , we also had a Hwatu 🎴game night .par. Tabletop 🍽️ . Here’s to more dinner parties in 2024 🍸

With every cake, I’ve been leaning harder into highly textured, monochromatic cakes. Pretty, but it really just feels like a cathartic arts and crafts project. I didn’t join the baking frenzy during peak quarantine, but it has been a source of solace, frosting is the ultimate blank canvas.
The cakes are equally influenced by both rough industrial plasters that I have seen on old European walls and buildings and 's artisanal Venetian plaster work. Not the inspo you were expecting, huh!
I love how inspiration can come from far flung places, especially when we may not see them in person for a while.

Summer salad on repeat over here. Peaches + tomatoes + basil + mozzarella too + flaky salt / pepper + red wine vinaigrette. Sweet, salty, tart, I love it all. Thank you for all the warm birthday wishes on Sunday. It really made my happy. Best birthday wishes to all the Summer babies & my fellow Leos 🎂!
