Perimenopause and menopause affect so much more than just your cycle 🌿

Sleep. Mood. Pelvic health. Sexual function. Bladder changes. And yet most people enter this stage with almost no information about what’s actually happening in their bodies or where to turn.

We’re changing that 🧡

On April 21st from 7–9 PM EDT, our team at Beyond Basics PT is joining the Integrative Women’s Health Institute for a FREE live virtual panel on perimenopause and menopause — covering everything from pelvic floor changes and painful s*x, to hormones, nutrition, and whole-body support.

You’ll hear from four incredible clinicians:
🎙 Dr. Amy Stein, PT, DPT — Beyond Basics PT
🎙 Dr. Corey Hazama, PT, DPT — Beyond Basics PT
🎙 Dr. Jessica Drummond, DCN, CNS, PT — IWHI
🎙 Dr. Dawn Allen, DNP, APRN — IWHI

Plus you’ll get to submit your own questions live 🙋

Endometriosis can influence fertility in different ways, but it’s rarely just one thing 🧩

Inflammation, scar tissue and adhesions, hormonal shifts, ovarian cysts, and changes in pelvic and nervous system function can all intersect. Everybody responds differently, and there is no single endo story or outcome. This is about understanding the full picture, not predicting the future.

Living with complex pelvic pain can feel confusing, isolating, and exhausting 😮‍💨 Too often, people are told their tests look “normal” while their symptoms are anything but. That’s why we’re hosting a free live virtual panel bringing together expert clinicians across pelvic floor physical therapy, pain medicine, psychology, and rehabilitation to talk honestly about what complex pelvic pain really is and why it’s so often misunderstood.

This conversation is for:
🔸People living with pelvic pain
🔸Partners, loved ones, and caregivers
🔸Clinicians and wellness professionals who want a more integrated lens

We’ll be discussing how muscles, nerves, bladder, bowel, spine, hormones, and the nervous system can overlap, why progress can stall in fragmented care, and what coordinated, whole-person treatment can actually look like in real life.

No minimizing. No oversimplifying. Just thoughtful, validating conversation from clinicians who do this work every day.
