A full year of anti-Israel campaigning and no increase in the number of supporters. BDS support at the Park Slope Food Coop is maxed out at 17%. Read the analysis based on the last election for directors. The Coop has spoken.

When the results of the Park Slope Food Coop’s Directors’ election were announced, we all let out a big sigh of relief.  The two pro-BDS candidates put forth by PSFC Members for Palestine were soundly defeated. Now that we have had a chance to analyze the votes, here are the TL/DR take-aw

On April 29, at the Park Slope Food Coop General Meeting, 3 of the Directors went rogue and acted in contravention of the Coop's bylaws to pass an irresponsible motion. The action was the first step in the Palestine Members program to have the Coop endorse the BDS Movement. As of this writing, it is unknown whether the General Coordinators will reject or follow the instructions from the Board of Directors.
If you are a Coop Member, please sign this recall petition.
This is your opportunity to:
1) Voice your objection to the Directors' action.
2) Support Democracy over Mob Rule.
3) Show the GC's there is support for rejecting the Directors' illegal action.
4) Demonstrate your objection to BDS.
