Friendship is science-backed medicine. 👯 A 17-year study of nearly 7,000 adults found that strong social connections significantly improve well-being and longevity. Those with poor social ties were 2–3x more likely to die earlier, and prolonged social isolation increased the risk of heart disease, stroke, and premature death by up to 26%. Longevity isn’t just about habits—it’s about who you do life with. That’s why I am so grateful for the people I get to call my friends, especially this time of year. Happy New Year!
