We spend more time sitting at our desk or looking at our phones than we ever have before and this causes many stresses to the mind and body. At a certain point, energy is not being generated at the same rate resulting in less productivity, creativity and connection to other people. Yojo brings wellness to the workplace to break up the stagnation of staring at a screen or sitting in a conference room. Our purpose is to create opportunities to energize your team while relieving stress through yoga, meditation and ergonomic services.

Remember that the self care that allows you to release the stress that takes you away from being you is the foundation for showing up for other people.
Whether you dance, hike, practice yoga or meditation or use a vibration plate, there are so many ways to discharge energy. They can make all the difference for healing or avoiding burnout, being able to participate in relationship and really showing up for yourself.

The first time I had a vision of creating a digital product was in 2015. I was a little too early in the market and everyone said people would just use free videos on YouTube so no one would buy my app but I knew having a fast easy source of emotional support and inspiration in your pocket was something we all craved.
It took over a decade of staying true to the course to put this app out here. It just turned 1 and I’m so utterly grateful to all the people who believed in me along the way. Thank you to my team and my family and friends! Love you all

And for anyone putting something out there, it takes longer than you want it too sometimes. It’s frustrating and it hurts but don’t take it as a sign that things won’t work out

This series is dedicated to everyone feeling a little burnt out this holiday season! It’s not you, it’s the systems we live in asking us to move faster than our nervous systems were ever meant to. Be a rebel and take it slow. Sit with your coffee for 30 minutes, trade in your cardio for a restorative yoga class, cancel 2 meetings that should have been an email!
This holiday weekend from everyone at YoJo, we hope you got a chance to really slow it down and rest!

While I’m not a huge fan of Thanksgiving’s origin I can really appreciate that it’s one of the only days that the collective nervous system of America really relaxes.

So today if you get to rest remember this: Resting is for the brave and it takes a lot more strength and bravery than always being busy.

Most people will constantly shop, work, take on responsibilities or do anything to distract themselves so they don’t have to sit with themselves.
When your nervous system is out of fight or flight the real work begins. It’s ok if it’s uncomfortable. Because what you don’t face grows bigger. What you do face transforms into something beautiful. Take it at your pace but be patient with what comes up when you rest! It’s always worth it. Life always gets better on the other side
