November 🙏🏽 Gratitude
Today, I’m grateful to live in such a wild and free place in this little woodland by the beach.
This place has it’s own micro climate, and is home to unique creatures and plants.
Sometimes it’s super dry and hot, with plants pokey with spikes of various lengths and sizes.
Other times, it’s hot and humid and turns into a lush vibrant forest with frogs, toads, turtles and snakes enjoying the temporary wetlands and flooded arroyos.
During winter, the leaves begin to dry, wither and fall. The mosquitoes take a break and the bees come searching for new homes and water. Tarantulas emerge from the ground and wander about like furry little pets.
The winds carry the sounds of the waves, and whispers of those people who lived here in eons passed.
There are absolutely zero lights around me so the night skies are clear and active. So many things zooming around up there!
There is medicine found all around, once you get to know your plant allies and friends. There are others that one definitely wants to steer clear of as well!
This land has taught me many things; patience, stillness, silence, contentment, perseverance, patience 😝, peace, the power of prayers and so much more….
Querida tierra, gracias para sus lesiones🙏🏽
