🎉 Welcome Dr. Joss Martinez, L.Ac. (they/them)!

We are thrilled to have Dr. Joss join our team! With a background in reiki and energy work, and a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from the Pacific College of Health and Science, Joss brings a unique approach to wellness.

“After receiving acupuncture and looking deeper into its philosophy, I found that the medicine described the relationship between elements of nature and our bodies in such a beautiful and intricate way. I deeply resonated with this process of holistically rewiring as a tool to help individuals regulate themselves and, in turn, strengthen the collective.” Dr. Joss aligns with Olo’s dedication to reducing barriers for underserved communities with affordable and accessible care. We are lucky to have them on our team.

Dr. Joss is available during our Saturday Access Hours and Monday community room. Book a session with Joss!

✺ Somatic Therapy at Olo ✺

We are thrilled to offer our newest service - Somatic Therapy with Meghan Herzfeld, CST. Many of you know Meghan as our Clinic Manager and we are excited for them to begin offering their practice here in the clinic. Somatic Therapy is a practice of learning and listening to the unique language of our body. A holistic form of healing, grounded in the mind-body connection that combines dialogue, movement, and light touch.

Many of us can identify with a sense of numbness or disconnection from our bodies. This practice is a great way to remind us that we are allowed and can even begin to give ourselves space, connection, decompression and listening to the messages of the body that often go unheeded.

As we begin to attune to the beliefs that inform our posture, movement, and health, we are given the opportunity to move out of unconscious habituation and into conscious choice.

Somatic Therapy is a good fit for anyone who may:
✺ Be navigating life’s many transitions, such as stress or grief
✺ Be curious about deepening their relationship and understanding of their body.
✺ Feel a longing to relieve the tension you carry around each day.
✺ Feel like they are living “in their head” and are curious about how connecting to their body can support feeling more grounded and engaged.
✺ Want to expand your capacity to feel connection and pleasure in your body.
✺ Be curious about restoring movement and self-expression
✺ Want to create new and awakened relationships with their body
