Direct composite bondings to veneer over the upper eight teeth. Goals were to build out the smile, brighten and idealize overall proportion. Achieved in a single visit, without tooth reduction.

Bonding teeth to full contour requires a careful and meticulous technique to restore to correct shape and form, maintaining the proper emergence profile in between teeth especially at the gum line. The goal is always to improve upon and reproduce nature’s true creation.

On a mission to cure irritated gums and improve esthetics of the upper front six porcelain veneers.

My goal is to heal, restore and optimize one’s condition to a healthy state using every measure to reach this objective at all times.

The upper six laminates were removed using the erbium yag laser, the gums treated with a diode laser to eradicate swelling and overgrowth, and carefully temporized to guide healing. Subsequent follow-up care post insertion with proper home care resulted in a much healthier state and a very esthetic outcome.

As in an excellent, inspirational movie - 2 Hearts - I do feel the urge to restore and revive teeth to their healthiest most desirable condition bestowed upon me as a doctor of dental surgery (DDS), my utmost duty in my role in medicine.

A day doesn’t pass without feeling that sense of hero!

So much corrected in this impressive smile makeover, replacing aged porcelain veneers and crowns on the upper 6.

Made higher at the new gum line to account for gum recession, shorter at the lower incisal edges to improve on the deep overbite, midline shifted to the left to better coincide with the facial midline, less opaque to produce natural transparency using layered feldspathic porcelain, closure of open gum embrasures to correct black triangles where food trapped, and promoted better upper lip profile from our lovely patient’s improved willingness to smile with nothing to hide!

A case where facial smile design and health unite by treating the upper 14 teeth to restore to ideal esthetics and function by veneering, 3/4 crowning and onlaying after periodontal crown lengthening. The vertical dimension is opened to achieve the desired affect and better bite relation. The uppers are longer, fuller and brighter to result in this beautiful, natural and durable new smile!!
