GIFT OF HOPE FOUNDATION FUNDRAISER
FOR A HOME FOR THE AILING & ELDERLY PRIESTS.

Gift of Hope Foundation, Inc., a US 501c3 Foundation, has agreed to partner with the Diocese of Balasore, India to raise funds for a much-needed Home for the ailing and elderly priests in the Diocese when they no longer have the strength to work in the arduous missionary assignments within the Diocese - the dream project of the late Bishop Simon Kaipuram, C.M.

The financial goal to build the proposed facility is $300,000 and if this fund is raised, this project should be completed by the end of 2025 in the Jubilee Year.

Our fundraising event held on Saturday, March 18th, 2023 from 6.30 – 8.30pm at Robbins Hall of The Holy Family Parish at 315 East 47th Street, Manhattan.

At this event, Rev. Gerald E. Murray, the Pastor of Holy Family Parish, gave a keynote address and Fr. Roger Landry gave brief remarks, and Fr. Chacko gave an overview of the project. It was an occasion to see plans for the assisted living home for the ailing/elderly priests, and promoted more about the Gift of Hope Foundation’s work.

Dear Friends and Collegues,

Starting this year the Gift of Hope Foundation will organize and produce wonderful events for the benefit to our poor fellow men in the Philippines. These events include a Gala, Auction Evening, a day-long fair with entertainment, and sports tournament. The funds raised from these events will be used for our first project, to start building the Hospital structure in San Miguel, Bulacan, Philippines.

On May 7th 2016, we will be having our first Gala & Silent Auction evening to be held in Waldorf Astoria New York. We would like to invite you to this upcoming event. Your participation and donation will help bring us closer to our goal of hope and healing. Many business and community leaders are on board, as well as hundreds of individuals. Our community is clearly excited and eager to see this project succeed.

It is not strange to hear about the poor who cannot afford healthcare.

In the Philippines, the poor who are struggling to have food on their table need our helping hands to obtain other basic needs including healthcare. People with life threatening conditions and chronic illnesses are getting no, or minimal help. Medications are unaffordable and beyond reach. With this in mind, we created a foundation to bring hope where there is none. In 2014, the Gift of Hope Foundation was introduced to many of our friends and colleagues. Our mission is to provide free healthcare for the poor and the marginal. Our first project is to build a hospital near greater Manila or in its vicinity.

We hope that you can offer a helping hand to achieve our dream, the Gift of Hope, and we thank you in advance.
