FREE Couple Therapy Training DVDs/Manual -- just pay postage.
It's 2 DVDs totaling two and a half hours of teaching the model and 4 role plays plus a manual, which is a transcript of the DVDs plus explanations for my interventions.
I have a number left over and would like people to have them.

Here are some endorsements from the back of the book:

“Lee Kassan is a thoughtful, senior couple therapist who presents the theory and techniques he has developed over thirty years. He begins with a theoretical presentation, and then these concepts are demonstrated via role-plays. A wonderful way to quickly comprehend a powerful means of working with couples.”
J. Scott Rutan, PhD, CGP, DFAGPA, Co-Founder and Senior Faculty, Boston Institute for Psychotherapy; Past President, AGPA.

"Lee Kassan gives an excellent, articulate, clear enunciation of the major principles of couple therapy. The first role-play gives a flavor of what he does, and there’s a lovely way in which he takes in and validates what each partner says. It’s clear that he’s developed his own distinctive, effective approach. I’ve learned some good things from this video."
Daniel Wile, PhD, Author, After the Honeymoon

"This video and its accompanying study guide are a must-have for anyone interested in a practical, concise way to apply attachment theory to couple therapy. Kassan provides a rich conceptual scaffolding for understanding the role that attachment theory and attachment styles play in the interpersonal dynamics of intimate relationships."
Philip J Flores, PhD, ABPP, CGP, FAGPA, Author, Addiction as an Attachment Disorder

"This combination study guide and DVD offers a definite contribution to the field of couple therapy. Using unscripted role-plays, Kassan demonstrates in a very clear way his method for helping the couple identify the underlying fears in their relationship that prevent them from achieving greater attachment and deeper intimacy. Kassan’s articulation of the six Rules of Engagement for the couple offers the therapist welcome guidance about practical ways to intervene in the office. Moreover, in addition to the role plays, the reader is treated to extensive question-and-answer sessions in which Kassan intelligently outlines his model."
Joseph Shay, PhD, Department of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School; Co-author, Psychodynamic Group Psychotherapy; Co-editor, Complex Dilemmas in Psychotherapy and Odysseys in Psychotherapy

I will be offering a consultation/training/process group for early-career professionals interested in group therapy. The group will run Friday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 AM (Eastern time) on Zoom. Because this is not a therapy group, members may join from any location. Hours in the consultation portion will apply toward the Certified Group Psychotherapist (CGP) credential.
Because the best way to understand group is to be in a group, the first 45 minutes will be an experiential group, and the next 15 minutes will process the group experience.
The second hour will be the consultation group, in which group members present problems and situations from the groups they are leading. Members will be asked to read the AGPA publication Core Principles of Group Psychotherapy, edited by Kaklauskas and Greene (Routledge, 2020) so they can intelligently discuss the issues that arise in a group.
The group will meet weekly on Friday mornings, 9:30 to 11:30 AM Eastern time, starting January 6. The fee will be $75 per session, payable monthly. There is room for up to 8 members. You can join on Zoom from any location. You must currently be leading a group, or in the process of forming one. Please reply by email to lee@leekassan.com
The group will be led by Lee D. Kassan, MA, LPsyA, LMHC, CGP, AGPA-LF. I’ve been in private practice since 1980 and have led many different groups for over 40 years; Former Editor, Group, the quarterly journal of EGPS; Current Editor, Consultation Please column in AGPA Group Circle; Supervisor, Couple Therapy program, Training Institute for Mental Health; author of six books and several articles about group, individual, and couple therapy.

Leah Slivko, LICSW, said this about "Finding the Fear"
"Lee Kassan’s approach simplifies and introduces beginners to couples work, and reviews the importance of focusing on relationship, and not on pathology, for more experienced clinicians. Focusing on how a couple expresses or disguises fears and needs is highlighted through creative interventions. Based in attachment theory and “Rules of Engagement,” this is a go-to book for any clinician who wants to wants to work with couples. The material is playful, filled with humor, respectful and warm. The cards are a great creative way of keeping couples focused on clearer communication. Graduate schools with courses on Couples Counseling would do well to incorporate this book in their syllabi."
