Last week’s InnerMost Mixer with Julie Holland, MD was a special evening for attendees and our team.

From a fireside conversation on women’s mental health, connection, and psychedel*cs, to an engaged Q&A, the room was filled with clinicians showing up with curiosity and a shared commitment to doing this work well.

There’s a palpable energy that emerges when you bring together providers across disciplines. It’s less about having all the answers and more about asking better questions, learning from one another, and building an ethical future for offering psychedel*c-assisted therapy.

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us and helped shape the conversation. Stay tuned for next month’s InnerMost Mixer—and if you’re not already on our mailing list, sign up via the link in bio to be the first to know.

We’re excited to launch Papers & Practice, a six-week, in-person immersion for clinicians and advanced trainees exploring the scholarship and lived experience shaping psychedel*c therapy today.

This program starts on Friday, April 24 and meets each Friday for a total of six weeks from 2:30pm - 5:00pm at InnerMost in Gramercy, NYC.

Each session pairs a journal club discussion of contemporary academic papers with a guided music listening experience designed to explore non-drug altered states of consciousness—creating a space for inquiry, experiential learning, and dialogue within a small cohort (10 people max).

Papers & Practice is led by Jeffrey Guss, MD—a renowned psychiatrist, researcher, and educator widely recognized for his contributions to psychedel*c-assisted psychotherapy, including his work developing therapeutic frameworks used in clinical research and training programs.

Applications are now open. View the extended program flyer and apply: https://linktr.ee/innermost.one

In psychedel*c therapy, set and setting deeply matter. “Set” refers to the mindset someone brings into an experience and “setting” is the physical environment that holds it. They shape whether someone feels safe enough to explore emotions, open to insight, and supported through moments of vulnerability.

At InnerMost, we believe the space itself is part of the therapeutic process. Our Gramercy clinic was designed by Olga Naiman, author of Spatial Alchemy: Design Your Home to Transform Your Life, whose work centers on the idea that environments can become active agents of transformation. Every color, texture, and object was chosen intentionally to create warmth, grounding, and emotional safety for people undergoing deep therapeutic work.

We will be hosting Olga for a conversation about healing spaces and the ideas behind Spatial Alchemy. Following the postponement of our initial Mar 12 date, we’ll be announcing the new date soon. Stay tuned!

Join us on March 25th (Wed) for a special InnerMost Mixer featuring Julie Holland, MD—psychiatrist, psychedel*c medicine expert, and author of Good Chemistry.

In recognition of International Women's Day, this month’s conversation will center on women’s mental health, exploring how hormones, relationships, and neurochemistry shape wellbeing—and what emerging psychedel*c and integrative therapies may offer for healing and connection.

Dr. Holland will join InnerMost's Chief Medical Officer, Casey Paleos, MD, for a fireside chat, followed by time to connect with fellow clinicians and researchers working at the forefront of mental health care.

This free event is for clinicians and mental health professionals. RSVP via Luma: https://luma.com/7qjhipx6

At InnerMost, we approach mental and emotional suffering through a different lens.

Rather than trying to suppress or silence symptoms, we understand them as meaningful communications from each person's inner healing intelligence—our innate capacity to move toward integration, balance, and growth.

Depression, anxiety, trauma responses, and intrusive thoughts often emerge when something inside us has not yet been fully heard, processed, or resolved. When approached with safety, curiosity, and skilled therapeutic support, these signals can become guides rather than obstacles.

Ketam*ne- and Spravato®-assisted psychotherapy can help create the conditions for that process by gently loosening rigid patterns and allowing deeper emotional material to surface. Within a structured therapeutic container, many people begin to reconnect with their own capacity for healing.

With the right care model and the right team, it’s possible to move beyond symptom management and toward meaningful recovery.

Benjamin has lived in New York for 25 years. He’s a husband, a father of two, and like so many high-functioning adults in the city, he describes operating under a “general level of anxiety."

When he learned Spravato® treatment at InnerMost was covered by insurance, he decided to try something different. What sparked his curiosity? “Rewiring your neural pathways.”

As someone born in Korea and raised in the Midwest, he speaks about integrating different identities and becoming more authentic in the process. “I’m being more true to myself and able to be my authentic self out in the world.”

We’re deeply grateful for the trust Benjamin has placed in our team, and his willingness to share his experience.

At InnerMost, we combine medicine and psychotherapy to create the conditions for shifts that feel grounded and sustainable. If you’re ready to explore whether this work is right for you, schedule a free 15-minute discovery call via the link in bio or reach out directly:

Welcome to InnerMost, located in Gramercy, New York City. We are committed to setting the gold standard for psychedelic therapy by uniting treatment, professional training, and clinical research under one roof.

Our multidisciplinary team blends deep clinical expertise with humility, curiosity, and compassion, guided by a shared belief in each person’s innate capacity for healing. We offer ketam*ne-assisted psychotherapy, Spravato® + psychotherapy, and traditional psychotherapy, and are in-network with major insurers (including Cigna, Aetna, United Healthcare, Empire BCBS, Medicare, and Fidelis).

At InnerMost, we believe mental and emotional symptoms are not defects to suppress, they are intelligent signals. When those signals are met with safety, depth, and skilled therapeutic support, healing becomes possible. Ketam*ne and Spravato® can create the opening. Psychotherapy helps translate that opening into lasting change.
