How Often Do I Need to Have a Prenatal Exam? (http://gplnk.co/2hIj4TX)

When a woman is pregnant, she typically sees her ob-gyn every four weeks during the first few months of pregnancy. After that, it will be every two weeks and then every week right before the due date. This is to ensure the health of the woman and the baby are looked after and any health issues are addressed.

Women who have high-risk pregnancies will need to be seen more often. This is to make sure no further complications occur.

Essential Menopause Facts to Be Aware of (https://goo.gl/IxPLlf)

There are many symptoms of menopause that women aren't aware of. In addition to hot flashes, women may have problems sleeping, may gain weight and store fat, and have stress incontinence. A rumor is that the body stops producing hormones, but it simply decreases the amount it used to make. Estrogen and progesterone will still be made in lower quantities.

What Will Occur During a Prenatal Exam? (http://gplnk.co/2hIj4TX)

When you find out you're pregnant, you should schedule an appointment with your ob-gyn. They will help see how far along you are, how healthy you are, and how the health of the baby is. Your weight and blood pressure will be taken along with other vitals. Your stomach will also be measured.

Depending on how far along you are, you may get an ultrasound for better imaging of the baby. Urine or blood tests may also be necessary.

Going to the ob-gyn isn't everyone's favorite appointment to go to, but there's also no reason to dread it. Improving your visit will make you look forward to it as a way to get out any questions you have. One of the biggest reasons women reported not going or being unhappy about going is not having a good relationship with their current one. Make sure you talk to them about anything you're concerned about to deepen your relationship.

How to Make the Most of Menopause, Together (http://bit.ly/2r0pYJJ)

Going through menopause isn't what most women look forward to. Many things change in their body due to fluctuating hormones. However, you can use the experience as something positive. The hormone testosterone decreases, which means you may become softer and more creative. This is the time to get to know your true self and take interests in hobbies you have.
