What is Hijama?
Hijama is a treatment used by our beloved prophet (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam). It is a process called blood letting. Once tiny cuts are made on the surface of the skin, suction cups are placed and blood is released through the use of a manual pump. The Prophet Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said "If there is a treatment which is best in healing, it is hijamah." (Ibn Majah)
