Oui ouiiii, day 2 in Paris😍

Spent most of the day exploring the 3rd arr. I mayyy have bought a bag in the process 🙈

I was so surprised at how big the Carnavalet Museum and loved how it didn’t feel as packed as the Louvre so I felt I was able to enjoy it.

Paris will always have a place in my heart and seeing the Eiffel tower gets me so emotional. This is not goodbye, but see you later🤍

My night shift as a new grad nurse🙃

Honestly every night can be different depending on the types of patients I have and their plan of care.I have anywhere from 4-5 patients, including an admission. Some nights I have a patient who I focus on pain management or another I have to give blood or I have bedbound patients that I need to give am care to. I see EVERYTHING on my medsurg unit😅

I joke that my job is making me skinny💅🏼 but I am constantly running around😭 but it is also very rewarding. This is just a small snapshot of it.

The learning curve as a new grad nurse is STEEP. Many times I hace doubted myself, felt dumb, and frustrated. Looking back now asI almost complete my year, I realized it takes time. AND I will always be learning 🫶🏼

We need to give ourselves some grace and take it a day/shift at a time. You do adapt and get better overtime🤍
