What's the buzz? Everyone is talking about Lamar 's jeans! Most referring to them as bell bottoms. Understanding the Difference Between Bell and Flare Pants
While we do agree that the term "bell" can apply to certain styles, our hypothesis is that the jeans in question are actually tapered above the knee and then flare out below. It's important to note that "flare" and "bell" are not quite synonymous.

Bell bottoms are typically much fuller, featuring a wider circumference at the leg opening, giving them a distinct and bold silhouette. In contrast, flare pants have a more gradual increase in width as they approach the leg opening, resulting in a subtler effect.
