Many of the people I work with are deeply sensitive.
You may find that you feel what is happening around you very strongly. You take in the emotional tone of a room, of a conversation, even of the larger world we are living in right now. And often, without realizing it, you carry that with you.
Over time, this can become overwhelming.
This is not a weakness. It is a nervous system that needs a different kind of support.
In my work, I have found that containment is the first step.
Without a sense of containment, we remain open and continue to absorb. But when we begin to develop a grounded center within ourselves, we create a place where we can land.
From there, we can begin to let go of what does not serve us, and to restore a sense of balance.
I am offering a new online series:
Finding Containment
A 3-Week Body Dialogue Series for women empaths
Mondays • April 6, 13, 20
5:30–7:00pm ET • Live on Zoom
Each class will include simple, practical tools that you can bring into your daily life:
• Beginning with qigong to arrive and center
• Guided Body Dialogue practices
• Quiet time for breathing and meditation
• Closing with a practice to release tension and fill with light and strength
This work is built on many years of practice, and is meant to support you in meeting yourself—and the world—with more steadiness.
