Finding your true pelvis
Finding Your True Pelvis - 14 hrs
February 28-March 1, 2026
We want a pelvis that is both ’neutral’ to our legs and spine, but free for our movement. Too often they contradict - if I’m neutral it’s not free; if I’m free, it’s not neutral. In this workshop, we go through the full spectrum of 20+ muscles that surround the hips:
• Learn to visually ‘read’ what is going on in our clients’ joints, and adjust accordingly.
• Learn a functional, testable definition of pelvic neutral that recognizes individual variability
• Learn how knees and feet contribute to low-back stability above your ’neutral’
Starting with the abductor ‘deltoid of the hip’, we will tour around each muscle, including the deep lateral rotators, adductors, and hip flexors / psoas group - palpating, showing visual and functional assessments, strengthening and stretching approaches.
Know your own pelvis better, and have more confidence working with others.
We are excited to announce that Tom Myers will be joining us in-person to present his new workshop Finding Your True Pelvis.
This course takes a deep dive into the term “neutral pelvis” including functionality and individuality in respect to the pelvis and surrounding muscles. (See full description below.) Tom will clear up the misconceptions and misunderstandings surrounding pelvic alignment and inspire us with his knowledge drawn from his deep anatomical research done over the past decades.
He will include hands on practice as well as lecture, as he always does, and his team will be here to insure everyone receives personal attention during this two-day workshop.
This workshop is great for all body workers, Physical Therapists, Pilates teachers, yoga teachers and all types of physical trainers. It is open to all people who are interested in this work.
This course will sell out, we recommend registering early to guarantee your spot.
