Mental 👏🏽Health 👏🏽is 👏🏽HEALTH👏🏽

I love being a part of the change in the way people talk about mental health and wellness. We all “have mental health”. It is not something some people have and some people don’t. I hear this phrase all the time in such a negative light. If you have a brain then you also have mental health.
🧠Mental health is just like physical health. It is a part of our body. It is a part of our human functioning. Sometimes as humans we have challenges with our mental health just as we may have physical challenges due to illness, accidents, disease, injuries or stress. It is all okay and there are spaces for healing and recovering.
Don’t be embarrassed to reach out when you or someone you love needs it.

MENTAL HEALTH IS HEALTH. 🫶🏽
