He has been in the field of addiction treatment since 1983. “Dr. G,” as he is known to many of his patients, is a clinical psychotherapist in private practice in Pembroke Pines, Florida and is a consultant at a number of addiction treatment centers in the Broward and Dade County areas. Dr. Green is a licensed marriage and family therapist, a certified addictions professional and holds three graduate degrees including a PhD. Dr. Randy’s many years of experience as an addictions counselor, an administrator of outpatient and aftercare services and over thirty years of personal recovery equip him uniquely to direct the program of GreenLife I.O.P. Dr. Green is the author of STEPPING INTO JOY, an autobiographical account of his journey of recovery through the spiritual principles of the twelve steps. GreenLife I.O.P. is specifically targeted to adults 18 and older who are experiencing substance-related disorders. We welcome all persons who are seeking help and support regardless of race, creed, gender, and sexual orientation. We also offer an evening Outpatient Treatment Program (I.O.P.) that provides a complete array of therapeutic services including Assessment, Education, 12 Step Recovery, Experiential Therapy, and Peer Support. The program meets 3 times a week for 6 weeks from 6PM to 9PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Individual sessions are scheduled once a week by appointment. The participants will receive psychological, social and alcohol/drug assessments, individualized treatment plan, and continuing care recommendations. services are State Licensed and are covered by most insurance carriers. We can also accept clients who are court mandated.
