Advanced Healing Wellness Center was founded by A.Z Sainfort, MD, OMD, PGDA, MDiv., LMT. She is a Board Certified Alternative Care Specialist trained in the USA, Europe, India and other countries in Biomedicine, and Alternative care. She received her doctorate degree from Spartan Health Science University in general medicine in 2001. She pursued her Post Graduate studies in Ayurveda, Sufi Studies and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is trained in Detoxification and Rejuvenation therapy at Birth Centennial Ayurveda Hospital & Training Academy, and Kerala Ayurvedic Center in India. She holds a Master’s Degree in Divinity from the University of Spiritual Healing and Sufism; specialized in mental counseling, Healing, Conflict and Resolution.
Her expertise encompasses Clinical Trial Research Investigator, Ayurvedic Medicine, Mental Healing & Counseling, Weight loss & Nutritional Coaching, Health Educator and Presenter, Quantum Touch, and therapeutic bodywork. After spending many years in biomedical research, she felt unfulfilled in that line of service. Her quest for fulfillment and her desire to connect with clients in a deeper level, led her to Holistic medicine.
She believes that all illnesses are results of imbalanced body constitution, emotional or mental in nature; they manifest physically only when left untreated. That understanding validates the importance of addressing any imbalance holistically; that is why she uses a holistic approach so the whole person can be brought back to health and balance. When treating the physical body, we must not ignore the spiritual, mental or emotional component. She believes that when holistic modalities are combined with modern medicine, both can have a powerful effect on each individual’s ability to heal.
