URGENT: Please OPPOSE HB2211 in RTS
Blue Cross Blue Shield has amended HB2211, and the new language is even more dangerous.
This bill would allow licensing boards to discipline anesthesia providers and other healthcare professionals simply for submitting an IDR offer above an arbitrary cap tied to Medicare or insurer-controlled rates.
This is a direct attempt by insurers to control the market and dramatically reduce provider compensation by weaponizing licensing boards.
If passed, this will impact all anesthesia providers and threaten the financial viability of our practices and patient access to care.
Please log into the AZ Legislature RTS system and click OPPOSE on HB2211. It takes a few minutes and is critical that providers speak up.
