Steve McCarty taught me: “You wanna be a rock star? Practice: It takes sweet repetition … even ‘til your fingers bleed.”
Every morning begins with Sweet Repetition — lemon water, sunlight, movement, and prayer.
These are my non-negotiables. They may seem small, but discipline is devotion disguised as daily practice.
Then I take a Healing Breath, sending love and light to every heart that’s healing alongside me. One breath can reset the entire day.
Finally, I enter the Flow Zone — that sacred space where consistency becomes grace, and self-care becomes world-care.
Because when I practice saving Dr Trish,
I’m really helping all of us remember how to save ourselves.

StarShine Academy Schools opened in 2002 as a research site to bring together world scientists and passionate, highly evolved educators to work together to develop a different environment for children to learn the way to learn. As systems’ designers and practitioners, those of us wanting a better way for children to grow up, recognized the current system as unable to reach all children, so all children can learn to grow and thrive. StarShine studied well-developed models of excellence, like Montessori and Waldorf schools and brought in some of the most innovative thought leaders of today.
