To this day, every time I examine one of these tiny little humans, I’m fully aware of the immense responsibility that comes with it.

Being trusted by families to care for their children is not something I take lightly—it is an honor I carry with me every single day.

I feel deeply blessed to do work that fills my heart so fully. Caring for children was my first professional love, and it continues to be one of the most meaningful parts of who I am.

And I will continue to show up for my patients with the same devotion, gratitude, and sense of purpose that first led me here. 🤍

Perspective

When people question vaccination because it's "not natural"...

Let me tell you, there's nothing natural about whooping cough bacteria invading a tiny, defenceless body.

Nothing natural about watching your baby’s face turn blue as they gasp for air, or the mechanical hum of an ECMO machine keeping them alive.

Nothing natural about a newborn being poked with needles and tubes in an intensive care unit, and there is certainly nothing natural about burying your child before they have even had the chance to smile.

You know what IS natural?

Protecting your baby!

💫 Y aunque la vida no es nada fácil, yo escojo ver el vaso medio lleno todas las veces. Escojo ver lo bueno, escojo apreciar las lecciones de vida, y escojo aprender. Escojo creer que hay un Dios que creó los cielos y la tierra y que no soy nadie para cuestionarle. Escojo descansar en sus promesas y en que sus planes son mejores que los míos. Escojo aceptar lo que no puedo cambiar, pero también escojo luchar y trabajar por lo que sí puedo lograr. Y escojo ir despacio cuando tengo prisa. He aprendido que mi tiempo de meditación con Dios, el tiempo de familia, el silencio, el discernimiento, mi nutrición, mi descanso y mi ejercicio físico son mis formas más fuertes de amarme y cuidarme. Y decido vivir mis días compartiendo con otros de lo poquito que tengo porque eso me hace feliz.
