Breast cancer milkshake era 🥤✨

This one is yummy, smells amazing, and might officially be my new non-dairy ice cream replacement.

Cardamom (did I even say that right 😅) is the star of this blend.

I’m loving learning about ingredients traditionally used in wellness and how they may support the body during recovery and long-term care.

Also… real question for the kitchen pros 👀
When a recipe says 1 cup of something frozen into cubes

is it
➡️ 1 cup before freezing
or
➡️ 1 cup of the cubes

Because I’m over here measuring vibes and learning in real time 😂

Still blending, still learning, still showing up on camera with you. By July I might actually know what I’m doing lol.

Eight years post breast cancer and still finding gentle, nourishing ways to care for my body and support my lymphatic system 🤍

Would you try this one?
DM me if you want the link to the book I pulled this recipe from ✨

Last night my heart felt very full.

A group of beautiful humans showed up to help assemble our very first Thriver Welcome Kits and it felt like a missing piece finally clicking into place.

For years, I’ve watched breast cancer survivors walk into their first lymphatic session carrying so much already.

So much strength. So much unseen heaviness. And I always wished they had something tangible to take home that said

✨ you are supported
✨ you are thought of
✨ you are not doing this alone

Now they do.

These welcome kits mean that from the very first appointment, our Thrivers leave with care that extends beyond the table and into their everyday lives.

Gentle, intentional support they can feel at home.
Each kit includesrefillery dishwasher powder, laundry detergent, shower steamers, and dryer sheets
natural body wash and lotion
Tea lymphatic tea
book by

And so much more

Every item chosen with intention.
Every detail rooted in care.

This became possible because one incredible human, .gram nominated Lymph Rehab for a local grant through Moon Valley Women’s Club.
Because of that yes, we were able to source most of these items from LOCAL WOMEN OWNED businesses.

A grant that doesn’t just give once, but continues to ripple through our community.

I am deeply grateful.
For the hands that helped pack these kits.
For the women who create these products.
For the support that believes survivors deserve softness too.

This is what community looks like.
This is what healing looks like.
Thank you for helping bring this vision to life 🤍

Scar tissue impacts the body more than most people realize.

Especially the lymphatic system.

Because scar tissue is dense, it can interrupt lymph flow. Sometimes it’s subtle. Sometimes it acts like a full stop. When lymph fluid can’t move freely, it begins to build up.
That stagnation creates inflammation, and over time can contribute to fibrosis and deeper dysfunction.

This isn’t about fear.
It’s about awareness.

Scars don’t just live on the surface.

They communicate with fascia, nerves, circulation, and lymph. When we don’t address them, the body works harder to compensate, and that’s where the cycle begins.

The good news is scars are responsive. With the right touch, education, and consistent care, we can support flow again.

I love working with scars and feeling the way they release.

Did you guess this breath? 👀 👄

Hint

It’s the one where you inhale through your nose
Then slowly exhale through pressed lips

Like you’re gently fogging a mirror or cooling down tea ☕️

This breath helps calm the nervous system and gently support lymph flow

Simple
Grounding
So effective

Did you guess it?
Pressed lip breathing ✨ 👄

Try a few rounds with me and notice what shifts

Strawberry basil smoothie
Made with care and intention

The basil was light because that’s what I had

Eight years post breast cancer and still choosing small ways to support my body
Hydration and nourishment that gently support my lymphatic system

Nothing extreme
Just consistent loving choices

Real life over perfect clips

Because small things like this really do add up
This one turned out really good

Though I do wonder how it would’ve tasted if I followed the recipe from the start

For a moment it looked more like salsa
Until a little extra OJ brought it all together

What’s been in your glass lately 🥤 💧 ✨
