Each year, World Hospice and Palliative Care Day brings together providers and advocates around the globe to raise awareness about the importance of compassionate, dignified care. This year’s theme, “Achieving the Promise: Universal Access to Palliative Care,” highlights the urgent need to make quality care accessible to everyone — regardless of where they live or their circumstances. 💜

More than 73 million people need palliative care each year, yet only 14% receive it. At Faith Hospice, we’re proud to stand with the global community in expanding access to care that relieves suffering, preserves dignity, and supports patients and families through every stage of serious illness.

September 21st is World Alzheimer’s Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about Alzheimer’s disease — the most common form of dementia, responsible for 60-80% of cases. 💜

First introduced in 1994 by Alzheimer’s Disease International, this day honors those living with Alzheimer’s, their families, and caregivers, while working to break down stigma and share education.

Celebrating Excellence and Compassion in Action

We’re proud to recognize the incredible work of our Social Workers and Spiritual Counselors, who provide unwavering emotional, practical, and spiritual support to our patients and families every day.

During our recent Joint Commission survey, these dedicated team members were specifically commended for delivering excellent care- walking alongside families through some of life’s most challenging moments with empathy, respect, and hope.

Last month, we celebrated CNA Appreciation Week, and we wanted to share this heartfelt message from our Assistant Director of Clinical Services, Tiffany Nadeau:

“CNA Week is fast approaching, and we couldn’t let it pass without recognizing all the work you do each and every day. Your compassion, dedication, and commitment to our patients and families truly makes a difference — and we’re so grateful to have you on our team.”

Our CNAs have a tough and intimate job that touches so many lives. We’re incredibly blessed to have such a wonderful, dedicated, and compassionate group supporting our mission every day.

We had a wonderful time helping set up this special photo spot to celebrate Father’s Day at !💙

It was a joy to honor dads, father figures, and the incredible men who bring strength and warmth to their families and communities.

We provided a photo booth and printed pictures for the Father’s Day shadow boxes at the facility. While we didn’t create the boxes themselves, we were happy to supply the photos and frames that helped make them extra special for the dads.

Thank you to everyone who joined in making the day memorable!

📅 We’re excited to share that Cameron Svendsen, Chief Strategy Officer at Faith Hospice, will be speaking on a panel at the upcoming PASRS Conference & Expo in Phoenix on July 17!

Cameron will join a group of industry leaders to discuss key topics impacting placement agencies and group homes. The panel will run from 11:15 to noon and is expected to engage around 150-200 attendees.

We’re proud to see Cameron represent Faith Hospice and help shape important conversations in our community.
