While this day is often marked as a holiday of gratitude, we want to acknowledge that for many Native and Indigenous communities, it is also a reminder of colonization and its ongoing impacts. In that spirit, we encourage you to use this time not only for personal thanks but also for reflection on the full history of this day and the resilience of Native peoples.
