Tower Tuesdays is always a Next Level Workout! The springs on the Pilates Tower are calibrated and used differently than those on the Reformer. You'll get a more unilateral, isolated, but full core sensation as opposed to a more bilateral, supported and assisted feel from the Reformer. Both can be equally challenging and Rewarding! πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ

It really depends alot on your preference; if you enjoy a group setting, have injuries or physical set backs where private sessions would be helpful, maybe you love the one on one attention from a private session? Your budget, time availability, or perhaps you mix and match both privates with group classes for the best of both worlds? Whatever you do or choose--just start Moving! The Pilates Chair, especially split pedal, is a completely different "animal " than the reformer. As you can see, mountain climbers on a pilates chair can be extremely challenging not only to the core, but to the entire trunk, arms, shoulders, tiny stabilizer muscles, and the Abs! πŸ₯΅πŸ’ͺπŸ™ŒπŸ€β€

I get a lot of men that think Pilates is a β€œWomens” thing. Quite the contrary. Pilates has so many health benefits for both men and women, athletes, or those looking to improve mobility, rehabilitate, and increase strength and flexibility πŸ’ͺ🏼. Here we’re working on trunk rotation, and this is going to improve mobility and strength in areas we need it the most…our core/back. How’s your core?
