Hello! I am an optometrist licensed to practice in the states of Arizona and New York! While everyday we wake up and hear the words “CORONA VIRUS” or “COVID-19”, we must make sure that we are as healthy as we can be to get past this time. That includes staying home unless we absolutely need to leave. That being said, what do you do if you wake up with a red eye? A painful eye? Or something just doesn’t feel right? You don’t want to leave in case it is nothing, but what if it is something? That is where I come in! As your eye care specialist, I am here to help you determine if whatever you are experiencing can be waited out or taken care of at home, or if you need immediate in-person attention. Being a health care profession, but not necessarily needed on the front lines, I felt lost. But with the new technology and advancement in telehealth, I am able to connect with my patients and help treat and make their lives easier while we all stay safe!
