Native SCOPE's kickoff was perfect! Native SCOPE is for American Indian 8th grade, high school or college students interested in a health care career. Today Dr. Antontrey Begaye, NATIVE HEALTH's Family Practice Physician, and Christopher Danny, a University of Arizona Fourth Year Medical Student, presented about their medical journeys and a basic cardiology lesson. Participants got their own stethoscope and were able to partner up and learn about using a stethoscope and sounds. Native SCOPE is in partnership with the American Indian AHEC.

Thank you to Dr. Begaye and Christopher Danny for giving up your Saturday to assist with Native SCOPE.

We are taking names for the next Native SCOPE cohort. Please contact Gabby at ghernandez@nachci.com to be placed on the waiting list.
