In the 1960s, we proudly forged strong partnerships with many of the valley’s leading hospitals, including Chandler Community Hospital, Samaritan, Lutheran, and the Catholic Healthcare West systems. Specializing in casting, splinting, and traction services, these collaborations laid the foundation for our unwavering commitment to excellence in patient care.
This photograph was taken on March 18, 1984, the day Chandler Regional Medical Center, then Chandler Community Hospital, opened its doors. The hospital’s first patient, 12-year-old Charles Wicks, was transferred to the hospital in the back of a rented moving truck as his balance suspension traction would not fit in the ambulance. The founder of our company, Bob Thielen, rode along with him. As captured by a local newspaperman, Bob even carried Charles’ pillows to ensure his comfort.
The picture says everything about who we are. We work quietly in the background, coming when no one else will, doing what no one else can, providing services of the highest quality and lowest cost. Our relationship with hospital administration, staff, and patients means everything to us. Our service shows it.
