I have made the difficult decision to close for the foreseeable future. Anyone who has started a business knows first hand how much time and effort it takes to getting a business off the ground and I have not been able to put in that time. I wanted to start this business to help families and provide more opportunities for care with trying to contract with as many insurances as possible because I know cash pay is not always an option. I have been able to help a select few but have hit roadblocks with getting credentialed with insurances, getting established with DDD and licenses need to operate ethically. I am not completely giving up on Tiny to Mighty LLC but feel now is not the right time as I also still want to enjoy and be available for my own children as they are learning and growing. I appreciate all the support from friends and family that I have received over the last several years but it’s time I make myself more available at a more established place to continuing doing what I love and helping make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. Thank you again for your support. I will keep this account to continue to provide education to the community about pediatric physical therapy and the benefits for overall child development and hope it reaches someone who needs to hear it. ❤️

✨Let’s talk Tummy Time✨ I have families all the time who don’t put their baby on their belly because they start screaming, they don’t think it’s safe, or it’s easier to have them in a container. With the whole “Back to Sleep” initiative, now more than ever, it’s so important to put babies on their belly from birth. It’s ok to use equipment such as the Boppee, tummy time pillows that come with most play mats or even on yourself. Tummy time on a firm surface ( firm enough play mats that when baby goes to push up on forearms the surface pushes back but not tile or hardwood incase they bonk their head) is the best but tummy time can be: on your chest, over your lap, or in your arms. The best way to avoid a helmet is getting baby on their tummy more ( and addressing any torticollis or neck tightness right away with PT). Baby mirrors are perfect for baby to start engaging more while on their bellies as well. Feel free to reach out to me if you need any help getting your baby to enjoy tummy time more!

Hi, everyone! For those of you who don’t know me yet, I’m Maure Schuhardt, and I’ve been a physical therapist for over 12 years, specializing in pediatric care. Most of my experience has been working with kids, and it’s a career that I truly love.

I’m passionate about creating personalized therapy sessions that address each child’s unique needs while also considering the concerns of their family. My goal is always to make every session not only effective but fun and engaging too—because therapy doesn’t have to be boring!

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with kids of all ages, from premature babies to toddlers with frequent falls, and even teenagers dealing with aches and pains. I’m committed to making a positive, lasting impact on each child and family I work with. When you leave my
session, I want children and their families to feel better than when they came in—physically, emotionally, and with a greater sense of confidence.

If you ever have questions or concerns about your child’s physical development, I’m here to help. I truly believe in the power of this work to make a real difference, and while I’m just one person, it’s my
way of contributing to the world and making a lasting positive impact.

Feel free to reach out—I’d love to chat!
