On this international day of yoga I recognize how this beautiful, multidimensional, expansive system of practices has helped me…

✨ find inner quiet in chaotic moments
✨ recognize my resilience + strength (especially in vulnerability)
✨ feel capable + beautiful in my unique body
✨ unlock gratitude + joy in the wondrous moments AND in the complex/challenging moments
✨ build meaningful human connections

Whether you have been practicing for a decade.. or a day.. I hope that your practice continues to empower you to live your best, most balanced life. Yoga is not just a workout it’s a work in and it’s available to EVERYbody.

✨12/31✨

Last year.. on this day… I made one of the biggest decisions of my life thus far, a shift that once it hit me I could not ignore. That one decision set off a ripple effect in my life that opened up an entire ocean of possibilities this past year (and for many years to come). I am so grateful.

Many of you might not know this but on this day last year I personally dubbed 2023 the year of ✨courage✨ and that word became sort of a one-word mantra for the year.. a lens in which most of my decisions were made from. What I did not know at the time was the integrity, authenticity, satya, and self-love were so closely tethered to the word courage for me.

I have shared many times in classes that “everything you’ve ever wanted lives on the other side of fear” and I truly believe (and have now lived in a small way) that a world beyond your dreams exists when you lean into discomfort + embrace change 💫

💔 Unhealthy relationship? You CAN have the fierce conversation with your loved one and better support one another (or get your closure and move on)

💼 Toxic work environment? You CAN start using your spare time to create an exit plan or start learning a new skill now to help you shift over time

📱Terrified of being active on social media (hi 🙋🏽‍♀️)? You CAN create healthy time + scrolling boundaries while still enjoying the connections these platforms have to offer

The possibilities are endless when you choose to trust your intuition, stop gaslighting yourself, and have the courage to really really love who you authenticatally are. Who knew? 🤷🏽‍♀️😂

I am grateful to close out this year of ✨courage✨ with you by my side. I am appreciative that we have stayed connected through it all. Your encouragements, likes, messages, and sharing of your own stories on this space 💓 have fueled me and continue to empower me to be better.

This monologue is to say THANK YOU for being here, for being you, and (more than you could even know) for helping me this year to step into my own power too.

2024, we are SO ready for you. Let’s grow. 🌱

A day late … but sometimes it just be like that. 🤷🏽‍♀️😘

This month instead of getting swept up in all the year end ‘to do’s’ and feeling like you have to be everything to everyone all the time .. pause.. breathe .. and re-prioritize your mental well being. It is the season of giving after all, and ✨YOU✨ are included in that.
