Maricopa Ambulance is seeking an experienced Critical Care Transport Nurse to provide advanced, high-quality nursing care during the safe transport of critically ill and injured patients. This is your opportunity to practice at the highest level — making critical decisions, delivering life-saving interventions, and serving as a clinical leader in the field.

What You’ll Do:
✔️ Provide advanced critical care from initial patient contact to facility handoff
✔️ Perform and assist with advanced skills and procedures approved by the Medical Director
✔️ Collaborate with EMS crews, hospital staff, and physicians
✔️ Participate in quality improvement and continuing education
✔️ Maintain RN-level drug inventory and compliance logs
✔️ Serve as a clinical resource and role model on the unit

What We’re Looking For:
▪Minimum 3 years critical care or emergency nursing experience
▪Current RN license (AZ)
▪BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
▪Strong decision-making skills in high-pressure environments
▪Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and meet flight safety standards
▪EMT or Paramedic certification preferred

During the recent ice storms in northern Mississippi, while deployed to support emergency operations, a crew from Maricopa Ambulance experienced a moment they will never forget — safely delivering a baby under extremely challenging conditions.

With icy roads, limited access to care, and storm-related disruptions across the region, this call was a powerful reminder that even in the most difficult circumstances, EMS professionals bring skill, compassion, and critical care wherever and whenever it is needed.
