August is Children’s Eye Health and Safety Month!

Our Doctors here at Camelback Eye Care recommend having your kiddos checked ages 1, 3, 5 or before starting school, and annually thereafter.

Annual exams can help detect vision issues that can be mislabeled as behavioral problems or learning disabilities. Signs of vision issues include squinting, trouble reading board in school, and headaches. Some signs are more apparent than others. In addition to annual eye exams we recommend polycarbonate lenses for all kids for protection.

We're so lucky and excited to announce come July, we will have more open availability as we are adding a new ✨Doctor✨ to our team.
New face, same care. Some of you had already had the pleasure of working with Dr. Miller, as she interned with us a year ago. We are so excited to be able to continue to serve the community with our expanded team!

Happy World Diabetes Day! This is a reminder that we should be seeing your smiling face annually. Diabetic retinopathy and other eye diseases related to diabetes are the leading cause of blindness amongst adults. Having annual screenings can prevent or delay such issues arising from diabetes.
