One of the most important skills of a wellness coach is listening. Listening empathetically and without judgement, asking strategic questions periodically to clarify and help you hone in on the answers only you can come to. A well trained coach will listen more than talk unlike other providers who want to put you in their box of what they think you should be. This is a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to work through things with a compassionate, empathetic person who is truly there for you!

This has to be one of my favorite meals. It’s so easy, healthy and delicious! Rice, roasted sweet potato, steamed broccoli, corn, black beans, chopped green onion, and chopped cilantro. I added some roasted rosemary cashews, and I serve it with a lemon tahini dressing. 😋 you can add chicken, tofu, other nuts, and seeds. The combinations are almost endless. You can eat it hot or cold, but the dressing is what makes it!

It may sound contradictory, but moving helps create energy. Not moving your body can make you feel tired and lethargic, even though you may not feel like it, just standing up and doing a little stretching or moving around will make you feel more energetic! Along with fatigue it also helps with anxiety, depression and sadness. Walking, especially walking outside is one of the best things you can do for your mind-body and spirit if you’re feeling down or struggling with energy. It doesn’t have to be far or long to get the benefits. ❤️

It may sound contradictory, but moving helps create energy. It’s the little things we do every day to enjoy life. For me, it’s spending time with family, hiking with my husband, coffee with friends. Today I’m by myself in Denver and fully enjoying the experience!
