🌎 Celebrating World OT Day 🌎

To honor World OT Day, our OT students share their “I am” statements. Each one is a reflection of their identity and commitment to the profession.

In every voice, a vision. In every statement, a story.

They represent the future of Occupational Therapy.

Let’s lift their voices and celebrate the power of becoming.

It’s conference season! Over the past month, faculty have stayed on top of current trends through , , and the Academic Leadership Council conferences. We believe learning never stops. To keep advancing our teaching, we need to keep learning ourselves.

Check out Dr. Bachman at the conference, where she expanded her expertise and reconnected with alumni and community partners. Shoutout to our presenters who shared their research and inventions ( ) to help advance care for upper extremity conditions.

To our students: Stay curious, stay connected, and never stop learning—your future patients are counting on it.

Second-year OTD student Lauren Koepke took her passion for occupational therapy to Capitol Hill during Hill Day on September 19.

She met with Arizona lawmakers to advOcaTe for critical legislation supporting mental health, Medicare accessibility, school-based OT services, and telehealth.

The experience was both empowering and eye-opening, strengthening her voice as a future leader in OT advocacy.
