A proper warm-up is one of the most important parts of performance and injury prevention. Taking the time to prime your body before throwing or training helps you move better, generate more power, and reduce the risk of overuse injuries.

Here are 5 banded warm-ups every baseball and softball player should be doing before practice or games:

1. 90/90 Banded External Rotation
2. Single-Arm Cross Body Diagonal Reach

Groin and adductor strains are some of the most common injuries soccer athletes face. They often happen because of the high demands on the lower body and the challenging positions players get into while reaching for the ball.

At Spooner we help athletes recover and reduce their risk of future injury by improving how the body moves as a whole. This includes working on ankle and hip mobility, and core strength to support the lower body for the demands the field.

Two of our go-to exercises for soccer athletes are the half-kneeling thread the needle and pivotal toe taps to build mobility and strength for better movement and performance.
