Desert Valley Pediatric Therapy has two locations, one in Ahwatukee and one in Gilbert.

We offer a variety of services and programs to children with developmental delays, as well as to those who need a little extra help to realize their full potential.

** community event alert! This SATURDAY 11/22/25! 🔔

The “Believe Festival” is an annual event by Believe Beyond Ability, a non-profit organization that focuses on serving children with physical disabilities. The 2025 festival will take place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Ability360 in Phoenix, AZ.

It will feature a giveaway of adapted toys, DME (Durable Medical Equipment), and AAC/AT (Augmentative and Alternative Communication/Assistive Technology) supports, as well as adapted games and activities for the whole family.

No registration or fees required and items are first come first serve!

Who knew squishy creatures could build so many skills? 🐠🌊 these magic gel water pets came in a fun interactive kit and are the perfect sensory activity to work on fine motor control, following multi-step directions, and feeling comfortable with new textures! Playing with a purpose in OT!

Bringing our team together for an evening of connection, collaboration, and growth ✨

Last Friday, we had our semi-annual company dinner at Culinary Dropout. It was a wonderful opportunity for both clinics to come together, share a meal, and learn from one another!

Thank you to all our incredible therapists who led thoughtful discussions and presented on building stronger relationships, fostering caregiver trust, and enhancing patient engagement. We’re proud of the work we do and the people who make it possible every day! 🌵

Having fun while working hard on our gross motor skills! Jumping with two feet off the floor, squatting, walking across uneven surfaces, and balancing across a beam! 🦵💪

These skills are so important for developing lower body strength, coordination, and confidence in movement. Each jump, squat, and balance challenge helps build stability for everyday play such as climbing at the playground to running with friends!

We love turning hard work into fun play while helping little bodies grow stronger and more coordinated! 🧚

🌡️✨ Did you know?! 🌡️✨We have an 8th sensory system called interoception? It gives us information about the internal physiological state of our body and helps us process body signals that let us know when we feel hot, cold, thirsty, hungry, full, or need to use the bathroom. It’s important for self-regulation skill building!
