This past weekend we had our Family Reunion Party at Blossom and it was such a blast! 🎉

It was so humbling to see so many beautiful babies who have been born at Blossom and families that have walked through our doors. We’re beyond grateful to everyone who spent their Saturday with us. Your smiles, stories, and little ones remind us why we love what we do.

Even though we missed a few familiar faces, it was incredible to see how much our Blossom family has grown!

A head-down position (known as “cephalic) for baby during pregnancy is  the most common and ideal position for vaginal delivery.

Sometimes, babies may be bottom of feet-first (breech) or sideways (transverse) earlier in pregnancy, and that’s okay too.

At Blossom, our midwives can identify your baby’s position and guide you through gentle, natural ways to help your baby move into an optimal position as you approach your due date.

If you’re in your third trimester, it means you’re almost there!

Your third trimester begins at around 28 weeks. By now, your baby is growing quickly and getting ready to meet you.

You might notice:
🤰 More pressure as baby drops lower
💤 Extra fatigue or trouble sleeping
🔥 Heartburn or backaches
⚡️ Braxton Hicks contractions (your body’s “practice” contractions)
💓 Stronger kicks and movements

All normal signs! It means your body is getting ready for something truly amazing!

Join us on Saturday, November 8th, 2024, from 4pm–8pm for an afternoon full of family fun! Enjoy a balloon artist, children’s music sing-along, and a bounce house that the kids will love.

We’ll be serving chili (including vegan & gluten-free), cornbread, salads, and drinks but feel free to bring a side dish or dessert to share! 🥗

Blossom is an accredited birth center located in Phoenix, Arizona focused on offering an integrative and holistic approach to natural birth and women's wellness through an evidence based and experienced Midwife and Ob/Gyn staff.

Blossom is Licensed by the state of Arizona and accredited by the Commission for the Accreditation of Birth Centers (CABC), as well as a member of the American Association of Birth Centers (AABC).

Blossom Birth and Wellness Center empowers women to be in control of their life transitions. We validate the deep meaning of these events, including preconception, prenatal, birth, postpartum, family planning and beyond. Blossom accompanies you in these events by offering dignity and respect for your individual journey. Our experienced and accredited staff provide a women-centered care program focused on evidence based best practice. This approach offers you confidence to make informed choices throughout your family's life stages.
